Harvested from the bark of the Cork Oak Trees, cork is also 100% natural, and can be reharvested from the same tree many times after the bark is regrown.
Cork is completely reusable, and has fantastic biodegradable qualities.
Cork does not produce much greenhouse gases, as it is made from the bark of Cork Oak trees. Cork Oak trees can endure drought and other adverse conditions, making it easy to grow. The bark of the tree regrows every 9 years allowing it to be harvested again.
Cork is lightweight and tough, allowing to be used
to make wine stoppers, but it can also be used to make coasters and other utensils.
