Mycelium is a species of fungus which grows underground.

As it feeds on dead organic matter, waste can be fed to it. Allowing it to grow, while ridding of waste.

Although mycelium starts off growing slowly, by the ninth day of its germination, it starts growing exponentially, allowing it to be mass produced at a fast pace,

Mycelium is can be used to make building materials, such as scaffolding and bricks,

and packaging, replacing plastics.

Mycelium can also decompose quickly, in around six weeks.
